31 Days of Kindness
October 1, 2015
Today marks the beginning of Kindness Month in the Minnetonka community. While we value kindness throughout the entire school year, this month highlights the positivity that flows from everyone. It turns the community’s focus toward loving, caring, and supporting others. We hope emphasizing kindness this month will perpetuate your desire to encourage and support those around you for the entire year. Plus, kindness is a two-way street; as you treat others with increasing kindness, your joy will increase exponentially.
So this month, we challenge you to 31 days of kindness. All it takes is a single kind act each day to turn others (and your own) day around.
Also, later this month, our school is doing a widespread Chalk Encouragement event. Anyone and everyone can join as we cover the sidewalks of the city of Excelsior, the Minnetonka elementary schools, middle schools, and high school with uplifting and positive words. Student Government and National Honor Society will release more information as the date approaches. Please come and help us distribute kindness to the community around us!
Happy Kindness Month! Spread it on 🙂
