Get your Thanksgiving on with these books

Thanksgiving is in one week. I repeat; ONE week! There’s only seven more days to prepare for all the family, food, and holiday jibes that are thrown at us on Thanksgiving day, the most fantastic holiday. Anyone can celebrate it and it’s all about the food (even the pilgrims would have to agree with this one). It’s a lot to handle, so it’s best to start celebrating now. Here’s a list of books to assist in your holiday prep:

1. Thanksgiving by Janet Evanovich

2. The Book Of Thanksgiving: Stories, Poems, and Recipes for Sharing One of America’s Greatest Holidays by Jessica Faust

3. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving by Charles M. Schulz (Yes, this is a children’s book. It’s Charlie Brown, though, so it’s okay)

4. Of Plymouth Plantation 1620 1647 by William Bradford (This one if for you, history nerds)

5. Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer (For any vegans or vegetarians out there who want to protest the holiday notorious for turkey consumption)

6. Black Friday by Alex Kava (It involves the Mall of America!)
